  • When using a wired ethernet router, up to 5 iOS devices can be connected to the NavNet TZtouch.

Wireless LAN Connection to Android™ Device

To connect your Android™ devices to the NavNet TZtouch, a wired Ethernet router is recommended.

Router settings

  1. Fix the IP address to one address in the range from 192.168.252.2. to 192.168.252.99 (e.g. 192.168.252.2).
  2. Set the Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0.
  3. Activate the DHCP server function.
  4. Set the security mode to something except “Open” or “Disabled”.
  5. Set the wireless channel to Auto, instead of fixing it to one channel*
  6. Rename the router's SSID to easily find the router with an Android™ device.**
  7. Change the router's Password**
  8. After the router is properly set up, connect the router to the TZT9/14/BB network.
  9. Wirelessly connect an Android™ device to the router.

Note:

  • The apps may not work properly on some Android™ devices.
  • When using a wired ethernet router, up to 5 Android™ devices can be connected to the NavNet TZtouch.
  • When Android™ devices are connected via existing LAN, we recommend 3 Android™ devices or less for stable wireless communication.

* Setting the router's wireless channel to Auto will have an effect on avoiding signal conflicts between many wireless devices.

** The original SSID and password are usually stated on a sticker pasted on the router.
